πŸ’°Liquidity Pools

Liquidity provision is a critical mechanism that enables smoother trading by reducing market volatility and providing depth to trading pairs. At Ring, participants can contribute to liquidity pools using our $RING tokens and, in turn, earn rewards through our Liquidity Provision (LP) staking program. This process is enhanced by "The Ring," our counter-cyclical algorithmic feature, which adjusts incentives and operations to maintain protocol efficiency and stability across varying market conditions.

Liquidity Provision Process

When you participate in our LP staking, you will:

  1. Provide Liquidity: Contribute $RING and another token (e.g., $SONIC) to our liquidity pool.

  2. Receive LP Tokens: Upon providing liquidity, you receive LP tokens representing your share in the pool.

  3. Stake LP Tokens: Stake these LP tokens to earn additional rewards, which are determined by the total liquidity provided and dynamically adjusted reward rates via The Ring.

  4. Zero Deposit Fees: There are no fees charged for depositing into our liquidity pools.

Zap Function for Simplified Liquidity Provision

To streamline the process of becoming a liquidity provider, Ring introduces the Zap function. This innovative feature allows you to:

  • Automatically Create LP Tokens: Instead of manually balancing and depositing both assets of the liquidity pair, you can deposit a single currency. The Zap function will automatically split your deposit into the necessary assets at the optimal ratio, create the LP tokens, and stake them on your behalf.

  • Efficiency and Convenience: This process minimizes slippage and maximizes your potential returns by efficiently entering you into the liquidity pool with a single transaction.

Getting Started with Liquidity Provision:

  • Visit the Ring website and select the β€œLiquidity” section.

  • Choose the liquidity pool you wish to contribute to and decide if you want to use the Zap function for automatic LP token creation.

  • Transfer your funds (either single token for Zap or both tokens for manual provision) to the specified contract.

To Withdraw your LP:

  • Navigate to "Your Liquidity" on our platform, select the specific liquidity pool, and specify the amount of LP tokens you want to withdraw.

  • Zero Withdrawal Fees: LP withdrawal incurs no fees, ensuring a smooth and cost-efficient provisionning experience.

Through LP staking and the innovative Zap function, Ring makes it easy and beneficial for you to contribute to the decentralized finance ecosystem, fostering a stable and prosperous market environment.
